Whew! What a wind!

Today, I decided to tackle fans. The one in the living room has been driving me nuts. It's big. It's kinda ugly. I don't need a ceiling light, and don't want to look at it every time I sit on the couch. Therefore...

But, being a decent fan, and not having a fan in the dining room:

Fantastic. Tomorrow, we're pulling all the books off my shelves, and all the stuff away from the walls in the study. New paint here we come!

The New Blog!

Hey guys, if you came here from my other blog, englishbiker.blogspot.com, welcome here. This one is nothing like the last.

The purpose of this blog?

To outline everything I do to the house I now live in. It's a 2 story house in central Indiana (near Bloomington) that is about 100 years old and shows it. So, here as proof that I'm actually doing something with my life, will be before and after shots (and sometimes during shots, if the project is meaty enough) of everything I do in this house, from replacing light bulbs, to washing the dogs, to painting, to planting holly bushes...
